Always On My Mind Podcast: Perimenopause & A Magnifying Glass

Nobody warned us. And honestly… that tracks.

It is not always a bad thing. Sometimes it is just bringing to light the areas that we need to take care of.

So here we go

Perimenopause can start in your thirties. It can last roughly ten to fifteen years. And no two women are going to look the same moving through it… just like no two girls had the same awkward phase in middle school.

That is the thing for this episode…. The magnifying glass. A spy glass if you will… we need to see the things we need to see.

As women we move through phases where hormones put a magnifying glass over different parts of our lives. Puberty magnified your skin, your feelings, your body. Pregnancy magnified your senses, your space, your everything. And now perimenopause is putting that glass back… right over the life you have spent 35 to 40 years building.

The stress. The sleep. The aches and the things you have been quietly pushing aside while you take care of everyone else. It is not trying to break you. It is just showing you where the glass is pointed.

And where it points is worth paying attention to.

Come listen ♥️

With love, Coach Nik
