It really is wonderful to see you here.
The health industry is full of before and after pictures and endless methods to get from one to the other. What people do not talk about enough is everything in betweenโฆ and that is exactly where I want to show up with you.
My Story
I navigated major life shifts to get hereโฆ morbid obesity, military life, raising four kids away from family, building my education, and moving through more uncertainty than I ever planned for. I learned that forward motion looks different every single day. Sometimes that is pushing hard. Sometimes that is pulling back. Sometimes it is failing and learning from it. It is all intentional movementโฆ and it changes everything.
When I met my ex-husband I was at my heaviest weight and my lowest point. Along the way I struggled deeply with my weight and my body image. I have been fitted for a dress and told there was not enough fabric in the world. I have been asked to purchase an additional airplane seat. I have been redirected to the plus size section by a sales associate who decided that was their place. I had a doctor refuse to order labs because he felt I was lazy and just needed to eat less and move moreโฆ this after I told him I was sleeping 14 hours a day. So many of these moments knocked me back from believing I could ever claim my health.
It was not until I found a more supportive community that things began to shift. I started smallโฆ
Seeing a therapist.
Going for walks every day.
Drinking more water.
That is actually it. That is where I began.
Those tiny steps made me curious about what my body actually needed. That curiosity led to motivation. And little by little, bit by bitโฆ I started to move intentionally.

My journey officially began in 2012. Since then I have done things I never imagined possible. I have run several marathons and two ultramarathons. Competed in a bodybuilding competition in both the bikini and transformation categories. Tried out a triathlon and a powerlifting meet. Earned my master’s degree in human performance and nutritionโฆ and became the first in my family to do so. I watched my kids watch me do it.
Over 135 lbs lost. And more importantlyโฆ I found myself.
I became a nutrition and fitness coach because the path took me a long time to travel on my ownโฆ and you should not have to walk it alone. Since 2012 I have had the privilege of helping over 1,000 clients through personal training, nutrition education, and one on one online coaching.
