Creamy Carrot Ginger Soup

I just want to give you the recipe.
No write up.
Just food.

Ingredients
- 15 ounce carrots raw
- 3 cups chicken broth low sodium
- 1 onion medium, chopped
- 1 Tbsp butter salted
- 3 tsp ginger root
- 2 tbsp cream cheese low fat
- ยฝ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- 1ยฐ In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
- 2ยฐ Add chopped onion and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- 3ยฐ Add chopped ginger, broth and carrots
- 4ยฐ Bring to a boil on high heat; cover and lower heat to simmer for 30 minutes.
- 5ยฐ Add the cream cheese and blend with an immersion blender.
- 6ยฐ Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper to taste.
