Peel and chop the apple.
Place in a pan with the butter and allow to simmer for 10 mins. Stir to avoid burning.
Preheat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit.
Prepare an 8 x 8 cup baking dish with avocado oil spray.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
Add wet ingredients (not apples or jam) and mix to form coarse crumbles.
Pour 2/3 of the mixture into the base of the plate and press down to flatten.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and add apples and raspberry jam.
Pour 1/3 remaining mixture on top.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
